need help Identifying a plant

hi there fellow gardeners i need some help i bought a strawberry guava plant the other day and it had a small plant that came with it in the same pot that is. so i separated them and didn't know if the strawberry guava is suposed to have a male planted with it. but they don't look the same and if not what is this little plant your help would be fantastic thinks in advance guys. here's the plant :)

here's a picture of some leaves from the strawberry guava and as you can see thay dont look the same.
