Hi everyone. I am completing my first greenhouse (8' x 10' x 8' high) and had a question about the top and sides. I had thought about ordering GH plastic, but found a good deal at work today. It's a clear vinyl that we use on canopies and outdoor curtains. It's UV protected and lasts 7-10 years.
I have enough of it for my project, but thought that leaving it completely transparent would allow too much sunlight in, cooking my plants.
And finally, my Q: Should I LIGHTLY spray a VERY fine coating of white paint on the plastic after it's up, filtering out a bit of light, of provide for some type of ventilation to control heat?
Thanks for any and all advice!
Adam
