black dots on leaves

Hello dear Gardeners


I was gathering the fallen leaves of the tree and i noticed there are black dots all over them. What is causing this?

I know very little about trees problems so wondered if anyone knows what this is.

It could be a fungal infection known as black spot. Hard to say without a picture.

Take some samples to your county extension office for analysis and treatment recommendations. Also, local nurseries can advise if you take some samples to them.
